Last day of training!

I actually had an fun day at work today, we are finally at our desk on the main floor of where we will be taking calls for "Sprint together with Nextel" Blackberry support. So we settled in making sure everything works which it was still having some problems but hopefully good by tomorrow. It was actually a fast working day today also.

We all had to go to the Cafeteria they had at EDS for our Graduation Ceremony haha it's so funny but whatever! They had a lot of people involved in this group and EDS is very proud to have this Sprint/Nextel thing going on for them so that's why they're making such a big deal for us. So we had a ceremony and we walked through the people and gave them fives like an NBA lineup thingy. People were just walking through them like they're embarassed or something whatever. We were forever clapping until everyone was called my hands were really red by the end of that. When they called my name I didn't even hear through all the clapping. Anyway I ran through them giving them lows not high fives and accepted my "diploma" for passing the training course.

OOOOOH Great thing happened OH YES!! There was an award at the end for most knowledgeable and YES! Joe (the guy I REALLY REALLY HATE because he thinks he knows EVERYTHING!) Didn't get the award!! HAHAHAHHA it was this asian dude that got it for our class! HAHAH oh man if you saw the face he had! HAHAHAH oh it felt soooooooooooo good!! I think I might be related to him because his last name is Cam. I'm related to many asian people I don't even know most of them. So after the cake and ice cream stuff I sat back at my table and emailed Sonny and junk and talked to my fellow co-workers via instant messaging. We started to use our phones we have to talk but the people told us we had to get off of them so that didn't work. Ok so I think I'm done... Tomorrow is going to suck I don't think any of us is prepared for the calls we're going to have.

It's Tuesday so far sucky!

Man... We are moving so slow in this class like everything is not working! Like there is so much waiting for our computers to respond to a lot of things that we need to work with. When we do get things going it's real boring and I end up sleeping while they talk. I guess I'm kinda known for sleeping now which sucks because that happen to me at school. Whatever though... oh my god we had to change seats because I don't know maybe he wants us to get along with others or some crap which is great with me because I had to sit next to this weird old guy that is just very odd. So I sat next to this chick his was a stout woman she was, and she got one of those mugs that you drink coffee in ok that's cool. Guess how many sugar packets she put in that? 30!! That's insane her teeth are so gonna rot! I was just cringing at all of that sugar she was adding... It's so gross I can't imagine anyone drinking anything that sweet.

Yeah what else oh on Monday we had to take this damn stupid ass test that was suppose to teach us how to be a good worker and help stop the turnover rate or soemthing. I don't know but we had to get an amount right and all this stuff. I felt so STUPID! I had to go over the exercises like 3 times each while almost everyone was almost done then when we did our test part I took it like 4 times! and it sucked because 3 times I had like 17/30 and you had to get 18! I'm like OH COME ON! Yeah I felt really stupid that day. I don't know how we are going to be ready to take calls next week because we have not learn a lot of anything and nothing is going right in the class there should be a wait on us and another training week for us because it is just not going right!

Update: Wrote this before I read Olivia's comment on my previous post... Yeah I think I will stick it out It's something I can relate more to than working at the library.

Training Day 4

Another boring day of not working! 8 hours of sitting in front of a computer that you can't do much with. Everything they were telling me it's like I already know or it's not difficult. I've had a two palm pilots and a Pocket PC before so learning the Blackberry isn't so hard. I am starting to not mind one of the smartasses. I overheard one of them and they were talking like I know a lot because I went to school for it and all but it's not like a brag about it. My god when will this asshole stop? Why isn't he doing something better with his life then you dumbass.

During lunch I ate at their cafeteria and ate with some of the people in class man I felt young! It was just weird so I left the table as early and went back to my desk and listen to my ipod. Working there isn't so great and Sarah said there's opening at the downtown Library I would want to leave but it's like I just started and they are losing money if I left for the training and the stuff like that, I don't know they were explaining it to us. Well Nothing fun happened sorry to waste your time reading this.

Training Day 2

Another boring training day, got there at 8 and he started talking taking us to websites and showing us a lot of stuff I really didn't understand but he says that, that will happen until you actually see what goes on. Yeah yeah so we were suppose to have these people come in telling us how to use this thing called blue pumpkin but they canceled so we really didn't do much that whole entire day. It was weird sitting all day I'm so use to standing and moving around all day. Those two guys are really buggin me the ones that think they know it all. Just shut up! I really hope I never sit by any of them when we actually work. I'm just happy they were democrats or else I would have to kick them soon. I fell asleep on one of the videos we watched the guy didn't see me so it's cool. Yeah just a boring day for me and another one will come. OH well today we had a 45 minute lunch which was great! I like that tons better than a half hour. Just a boring day a lot of time wasted.

I forgot to bring this up when I went to the restroom today the guy using the urinal started farting like crazy! I washed my hands real quick and got the hell out of there!

Day at new job!

Okay so I started my first training class at EDS. Wow it was so boring! Went first to get my badge and stuff and the guy Mark Champ or something took us to the cafeteria. Dude there was like 50 of us in there and he had to call all of us on a list to check if everyone's name and social security # were correct. He was a portly fellow and didn't go through the aisles and it took forever to get done with that. So we sat there for a while just waiting for our names to be called and there was like 3 minutes between every name. We walked around a little bit showing us the building and then split into two groups into a different training class.

The first thing he did was to write our name down on a piece of paper and a number between 1-10 I picked 8. Turns out that's the number of things you have to say about yourself to the group! DAMN IT! I don't remember what I said just a lot of crap it's not important but it looks like there's a lot of people that was from the army and stuff and knowledgeable about computers. Ok these two old men are freakin stupid! I don't know what but they kept talking like they know so much about computers and shit and it just got to me it's like shut the fuck up! They would keep interrupting the dude and stuff, and it's like dude he's explaining not you bitch! One of the guys sat two seats next to me and he try to tell me how to put a site on my favorite places! OH MY FUCKING GOD! I think I know how to put things on my favorite places! I was sooo annoyed I just wanted to go up to them and just slap them. Just everything they said just wanted me to just hit them I wanted them to just shut up! Anyway only a 30 minute lunch break!? That sucks big ass! I got 45 minutes at TJ Maxx that's perfect I think. Anyway I didn't like my first day and as the guy was talking I kinda nodded off because I was tired I slept early too well earlier than normal I slept at 2.

kinda boring weekend

Ok Saturday had to work. Sucks this new bitch Ms. Bane is a fucking dumbass bitch! She just transfered from the Ankeny Store and likes to do this thing called sucking! She talks to everyone like they're new when some of us has been working with TJ Maxx before your stupid bitch ho mother F'er. Yeah I gave her some attitude she asked me if I knew where some of the clothes belong! UHH YEAH BITCH GO TO HELL! We did leave the store early that night though not because she was the manager and did well it was because it got slow at the end of the night!

So went home, family was over including my cute little cousin Molly. Sophia you should have been there because she was the best that night! When I got there she totally smiled at me and greeted me at the door with a big hug. Some pictures of her that night is at the picture site so go there! So yeah Rosie wanted me to do her banner so I had a little "photoshoot" with her and I thought her hair was too boring so I thought hey let's use the fan! It worked great! So after we were finished I played with Molly a little more and then they finally went home.

Sunday I didn't work for some reason I usually always work on Sundays, but good thing I didn't! I woke up at 4pm isn't that crazy? I was like WOW! Ok so I ate capoon (spicy noodle soup) and it was good. Later though I guess everyone was at my uncle's house and some of the kids came over. They were loud! I showed them a picture of Rosie that I fixed and she looked pretty good in I'm always impressed with my photoshop skills. So later tonight I started Rosie's banner OH MY SHIT! It looks great I love it! You can view it on my main page. It's a sky blue color because Rosie's site is that color but she changes it a lot but that's what it's going to be right now. I showed it to everyone that was online at the time I was proud of my work so I want all of ya'll to look at it! It actually didn't take me that long to do it either, maybe because I'm playing around with it all the time that I know what I kinda wanted to do. There's some stuff that I would like to go back on but it's kinda too late to do it now but it's good I love it! That's it.

NEW JOB!

WHOO HOOO!! Finally got a new job at EDS! Even though I rather be working downtown at ING with Sophia and Sonny but oh well... Anyway I guess I'll be on the phone all day for Sprint/Nextel. Troubleshooting their blackberry pda phone. It's cool I don't know much about the blackberry pda but I know my way around Palm and Pocket PCs so I don't think it'd be that hard to deal with. I wanted to leave TJ Maxx but I guess I'll stay for Sundays. Sucks but oh well I still like the people there. IF I do get a call from ING though I think I'll leave EDS because I think they are paying more than EDS, just glad that when people ask me where I work I don't have to say TJ Maxx anymore. Sarah gots a new job at the library... haha my parents asked if I knew I said yeah I do. They asked if she gets paid more. She told me that she's actually getting paid less. Then they asked why would she move I just told them, She likes to do nothing. hahah. Actually she doesn't do much at her current job she's always browsing the Internet and chatting with people. She use to watch DVDs but they locked her out of that hahahah! So I cleaned up my room and when I started the vaccuum it started smoking on me and smelling really bad. I'm still smelling the bad fumes. I'm bored there's nothing to do on this Thursday night.

Another Thursday night with Sarah

Hmm... Let's start the day when she got her oil changed that morning and we ate at Indian Cafe. We like Indian food it's just good with all of it's messy goup and nan. There was this one thing that was orangy color with some chicken in it. (I didn't get any chicken from that because Sarah ate it all) and I just couldn't stop thinking it tasted like parmesan cheese. Sarah kept trying to tell me it doesn't but then later she got some food for Sonny he asked her "hey what's that orange thing, it's different" she asked him if it was a good or bad thing he says it's a good thing. Sarah finally brought up me thinking it tasted like cheese and Sonny just said YES THAT'S IT! so HA Sarah HA!. We totally stuffed ourselves and I don't know what's wrong with Sarah but Indian food is her laxative. She really needed to poop she kept bitching til we got back to Saturn to get her car back and was gone. (Her poops can take hours to finish.)

she came to my house at 7:30 and she was suppose to go to her Church lesson thingy at 8. This girl ditch the preaching to buy some shoes! Sarah really doesn't have shoes she thinks she can make it with only flip flops for the rest of her life. It was really cold that day and she was still wearing flip flops. So yeah she called the elder dude to say "I'm not going to show up." Something about her being in "Indianola" (South of Des Moines and her church was in the west side.) Our plans were to get shoes then head over to watch Batman Begins at this one theater. Well when were heading to Merle Hay Mall got a call from Sophia to drop her CD off, her place is far on the west side so it'll be a small inconvenience but whatever. Sarah was talking to Sophia and she missed where she wanted to go so we had to turn around and stuff, she's easily distracted. ok so we got her shoes and were heading to Sophia's house to give her her CDs. She wasn't even there! So Sarah just left it on ther door step.

We only had a little time to get to the theater on time so we took the interstate and we actually made it ON TIME. I was really hungry and I really hate popcorn but ate it anyway because I was hungry and like 3/4 of the bag I got really grossed out and just didn't eat anymore. The Movie was good I liked it that's a movie I'm going to burn when it comes out. haha. In the middle of the movie I really needed to pee but I really didn't want to miss anything so I actually held it in I was struggling in my seat but I won't let the pee take over me. I probably hurt my bladder that night but oh well. Yeah so when the movie was over I totally just walked out and went to the Restroom. I think that's where I lose my bloody iTrip thingy that allows me to play my iPod using the radio and stuff. It bothered me but oh well I can get another one. haha Funny thing! So there was a Star Wars Movie Poster just sitting on the bench in the front... Sarah has this unhealthy obsession with Hayden Christensen (check out her journal blog). So she it took and we ran out the door. Uh oh... The people were out there changing the posters for their next movies. hahah all I heard was "Hey are you stealing my Poster!" hahahahahhaahhaha great! Oh another thing about Sarah is she is addicted to stealing! Started very young for her when she use to steal TV Guides, and then Virtual pets from her store she was working at, Restaurant Menus...(don't ask). So yeah she had to stop I thought it'd be funny if we just went to our car and drove hahah but oh well. I was embarassed for her more than she was for herself. It's good.

So later I was still hungry because popcorn just sucks. We went to Jimmy John's and they messed up my order and gave me vegetarian! NO MEAT!!!!!! ME NO LIKE NO MEAT!!! I told them and they got me a new one that was great! Sarah's bread was burnt ha they like to burn bread there or something because the first time we went the bread was sooo hard that I didn't think I liked that place. It was just that night I guess. My breat was great though it was soft probably because the screwed up my order before. So we left and went to walgreen nothing interesting about that place and went home good day. No Wal-Mart thank you Sarah!
