Wedding

So I was a groomsman at a wedding recently and they all wanted the wedding party to say something in the reception (total last minute decision!)... I get nervous talking in front of a crowd, I only did well in Speech class because I knew everyone in the class. For this occasion in my head I thought, weddings are suppose to be cheesy, so the cheesier the better... Also I don't really know them all too well, so I also thought that cheese was being on the safe side, anyway I think it went in the lines of this...

"I like say congrats to the newly weds... I don't know you guys as well as these other people here but the time I've known you, you've always been affectionate and loving towards each other... (HAHA god I make myself sick...) I can only wish for myself to find a relationship as strong and committed as what you have. (I would like to barf now, If I heard someone else saying this I would seriously consider jumping them) I also would like to personally thank you for having me be a part of your wedding and hope you have a great future together... Cheers!"

I don't think it's exactly word for word, but you got the gist of that, I'm proud of my cheese and I would do that again... haha it was fun making something like that up on the fly...
