Debt

Being an adult sucks. I have to say I really hate New Years Resolutions because no one ever follows through but maybe I'll try it out this year. I am so ready to get out of debt and I think this year is the year to finally do that. I don't think I really spend too much through the week, it's just the weekend that kills me every time. During the work week I just go to work and go home and that's pretty much all of it, but during the weekend I'm always having to go out and buy up the bar or spend money on shots for the whole gang. Sometimes I would end up the next day checking my bank account seeing there's 100 bucks from just one night alone.

I'm definitely going to be tighter with my money. I just signed up for Mint.com which goes through my bank account and credit cards and it helps me with budgeting and telling me how much I need to be paying each month on my cards. It's a pretty neat site and I never really knew how much my spending really was until I had the site basically tell me. What I blogged about in a couple post back was that I was wanting to travel a lot more and see more of the world but I think before I can really do that is to get out of own personal debt.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Censoring

So I was on Twitter today and noticed that Huckleberry Finn was a Trending topic. Apparently they're thinking about censoring the "N Word" on all copies of the book. I have to say as much as I dislike the "N" word I don't think it should be censored that is a right to free speech and back when it was written they used that and it's part of American History. We shouldn't cloud young people's minds like this, I feel they should have every right to know their history that the world isn't as cream filled as their innocent minds think.

It seems like I only use my phone to record videos when my friends and I are under the influence. I guess my regular everyday life isn't really that mentionable to actually record. Here's a video of us at the state Capitol one night and we bet if he could vomit into this cannon we would owe him a drink.

Late Christmas Blog

I haven't been posting anything since my MacBook Pro for some reason died on me. I was nervous taking it into the Apple Store because I didn't know how much it would actually cost, but the best thing is they didn't charge me. So now i'm back with a computer and will be updating more often.

Christmas was great, my sister came home with her dog and it was just a good feeling to have everyone at the house again. She can really talk though, I kinda forgot how much she can go on and on about something but it's cool to have company at nights. My sister is thinking about moving back to the Midwest, Omaha actually. I'm kind of happy that she's closer but I was hoping to visit her in California before she came back here. I've just had such a rough time financially so I really couldn't get myself down there. I know she has friends down there so maybe we'll go on a trip or something together in the future.

I hardly spent any time with my friends during Christmas it was very family oriented and I have to say I really enjoyed that. I am very fortunate to have the family that I have. We're very supportive of one another and we got each other's back. I do see other people's family and they are not as close as I am, I'm more than just family I'm friends too so I have that great bond with them. Having my sister here for the holiday just made it feel more complete and no worries of other personal issues that I maybe having.
