Typical Thursday April 12, 2012

Today, the alarm went off at 8:45am but I snoozed it a couple times but officially woke up around 9:20am. When I woke up my left foot was aching a little bit when I stepped on it a different way. I don’t get why, but I constantly have issues with my left foot pain. It’s not all the time either it comes and goes. I should really get it looked at because at times it will be so excruciating I don’t even want to move. Today it’s not so bad so I’m able to walk do my regular routine. I tried to get up a little earlier than my norm because today is payday so money was deposited into my account and my gas light has came on. I can’t say it’s the best living paycheck after paycheck but at least I’m not on the streets starving. Stopped by my local Casey’s General Store and paid for a full tank of gas (Total $55.41) and went to my job up in Ankeny. It’s a typical work day, just looking at a monitor and inputting numbers into some system also chatting with some crazy characters on the phone. Between time I did read this blog of this guy traveling pretty much around the world all in one year. I suggest you check it out. http://www.yearinthelife.org/ Most of the day while working I would be on the internet reading up articles and chatting with my cousin via gtalk. Don’t get me wrong I do make my numbers but I need to constantly be doing something to keep me from falling asleep or getting too bored with the work I’m doing. It came around 7pm and it was time to pack up and go. Got out of there and immediately went straight to the westside Panera Bread. I had a CelebrAsian Entertainment meeting I had to get to and I hate to be late for those. I got there and then the meeting started we discuss who we have that’s coming and a few games we can have for filler if there is extra time on stage. I’m not going to go into detail on this but overall this was probably one of the more informative meetings for Entertainment since we started for this year’s festival.
My cousins were part of the committee as well so after the meeting we went and got some dinner together. We went to Noodles & Company that they just opened up at Valley West Mall. Typical Asian me got Pad Thai dish and I have to say it wasn’t too bad. I’ve been to a few places that are supposed authentic Thai food and was just disgusting. Actually my cousin didn’t like her Pad Thai dish.
Got home around 9:30pm and spend the rest of the night watching some streaming videos on Hulu and Netflix until I fell asleep.
